The role will be liaising with the residents of a Housing association. It will be a customer focused role and is fully remote. The role is a Finance Assistant - Rent and Payments Officer, you will be recording rent refunds and recording the payment details onto Excel and their inhouse tenant system.

Main Duties included:

* Liaising with tenants

* Crediting accounts

* Verifying bank details

* Refunds

* Ad hoc payments

* Control accounts

* Following processes and procedures

* Conducting fraud checks

* Liaising with internal stakeholders regarding verification checks.

Other duties include:

* Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders, prioritising requests and understanding their demands

* Maintain payment records

* Responsibility for a wide range of payment tasks

* Adhere to company procedures and controls

* Supporting the Finance team in day to day and monthly processes and reporting

* Assisting with general queries and ad hoc tasks

Interviews will be the towards the end of the first week back in January 2022
