Bricklayer Trainer
Job purpose:
Build Skill Plus sits within the Fisher Services Group, we are committed to delivering a 'best in clast training service both within the funded and commercial training sectors we operate within. The Technical Tutor is an integral team member to deliver apprenticeship standards and commercial training related to the construction industry- specifically brick. Working closely with the Quality and Management team, the Technical Tutor will lead by example to drive the creation and implementation of delivery activities, making a tangible difference to the learning experience and supporting the completion of key documentation relating to both internal and external compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
To promote teamwork and inspire others
To take personal responsibility for technical knowledge and professional ability
Deliver a suite of training to industry in line with awarding body standards
Satisfy approved centre criteria for the awarding organisation.
Monitor and maintain records to satisfy awarding body requirements
Ensure all requirements are satisfied operating in line with contractual obligations, policies and procedures for the main centre and awarding organisations registration requirements for learners.
Ensure a suitable tracking system is in place for all learners and this can be communicated to appropriate stakeholders.
Promote safeguarding and the welfare of young people in line with company policies
Undertake continued professional development opportunities to incorporate appropriate industrial experience updates, personal development, awarding organisation updates and any other identified training / development needs required by the centre's CPD strategy.
Attend contract standardisation / assessment / verification meetings at the Build Skill Centre
Ensure all aspects of health safety and welfare meets current legislation and policy requirements.
Investigate and drive the implementation of current investments of technology to improve efficiencies within the business
Prepare learners for EPA
Follow all applicable centre policies and procedures
To maintain close working relationships with key stakeholders
Work effectively with other departments within The Fisher Services Group
Preparing centre-based resources to support the delivery of training
Create and upload business compliance documentation
Book and apply for external certification when required
Take an active part in managing data and users' access within the CRM system
Promote Environmental efficiencies, educate and lead by example
Create data record systems to meet the business needs
Maintain a professional commitment to personal CPD
Any other tasks deemed appropriate by the business.
