Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are.

The role

This position is fulltime, long term with the view to be extended and due to start January 2022. The successful Teaching Assistant will have excellent knowledge of working with children in class on a one-to-one, small group and full class basis under the direction of the teacher. This role will involve supporting Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 children. Experience and understanding of SEND is desirable but not essential. This role will suit a confident, proactive and engaging Level 2 Teaching Assistant who is adaptable and flexible.

You will work closely with the class teacher, support and assisting with lessons and activities whilst being an integral member of the team and by providing a happy and safe learning environment for all the students. The school is committed to continuing professional development for all staff and have friendly and supportive staff

To be considered for this position, you will need to:

Have experience supporting pupils in secondary schools.
Hold a Level 2 qualification or above in childcare.
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team.
