A UK Top 50 law firm, are looking for a driven Compliance Assistant or Analyst, to join their Conflicts team. This is a full-time permanent position, in which you would be based in their state-of-the-art Bristol office (with remote working). Notably, this is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm.

This is what you'll be doing

Undertake compliance tasks on behalf of the firm, including conflict checking
Work within a close-knit team of compliance professionals, including assistants and analysts, and report into your team leader
Monitor and analyse matter risk assessments, and ensure the firm is comfortable acting in the particular circumstances
Gain a good understanding of the SRA Code of Conduct rules
Work with fee earners to mitigate any risks identified in risk assessments, and refer where necessary to risk
Review and analyse CDD documents to ensure compliance with AML regulations
Use bespoke software to review company information, research organisations and conduct verification searchesThe experience you'll bring to the team

Experience working in compliance for a law firm or professional services, in the areas of due diligence/KYC is essential
Experience of conflict checking is desirable
Ideally you will have a legal qualification e.g. LLB/LPC or equivalent
Excellent research and analytical skills
Good IT skills
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise a busy workload
