My client, a specialist in their field of sustainability, are currently looking for an Electrical Design Engineer on a 6 month rolling contract to start in February. This is an outside IR35 Contract, and we would expect the right candidate to have their own equipment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work for a growing organisation where your skills in a relevant field can be utilised. This is a home based role predominantly, however you will be required to attend the office for business critical meetings


Carryout projects to develop improvements to existing and new products on time and to budget
Detailed CAD design using either Solidworks Electrical or Autocad Electrical

Experience Required:

Highly competent using computer-aided-design applications (Solidworks Electrical or Autocad Electrical)
An understanding of Design & Programming would be nice, but not essential
Conceptual design
Working knowledge and experience of High Voltage and Low Voltage power systems
An excellent communicator and able to work in a small team
Ability to learn new skills quickly and work with minimum supervision
