Cloud Operations Manager - Azure.
We need a contract Cloud Operations Manager to lead internal and external teams responsible for the implementation, security and operation of the Cloud infrastructure platforms.
Responsible for leading and managing of a team of Cloud Infrastructure Analysts and a DBA, defining, planning, and delivering the strategic infrastructure platform, ensuring the cloud platform is managed effectively defining and operating best practice processes to run and operate the cloud platform providing an efficient and secure platform.
A wide-ranging role, your accountabilities will include, but not limited to Azure Cloud infrastructure, IT infrastructure management, covering security, continuity management, network planning, penetration testing, problem management and change management.
Title: Azure Cloud Operations Manager / Cloud Infrastructure Operations Manager.
Location: London with flexible and remote working
Rate: c£550 per day out of scope of IR35
Start Date: ASAP.
Duration: 3 months poss renewal.
You need proven experience of successful delivery of Cloud Infrastructure Operations - Azure Management in a customer focussed business, securing value for money and high levels of customer satisfaction; where you have implemented IT Software systems in a complex IT environment including cloud environments using ITIL.
You will have experience of managing public cloud infrastructure platforms such as Microsoft Azure specifically using tools and services such as: Azure Backup and Site Recovery, Azure Monitor, Azure Arc etc.
In addition, as an experienced Infrastructure Manager you'll have experience in Windows PC, mobile phones, tablets and Server operating systems, Storage Systems, Network protocols & configuration, Network and Systems Security, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office 365 & VoIP Technology.
Along with your technical skills you'll have strong communication skills, be comfortable and have experience of developing and managing relationships across IT and the business. Using your good time management and organisational skills you'll manage simultaneously conflicting priorities and have the ability to work methodically.
