Interim Clinical Category Manager
The Clinical Category Manager will manage end-to-end procurements as well as negotiate and select suppliers that will fit best in alignment with the businesses strategic objectives.

Description
Implement procurement strategies and lead the operational planning for the delegated category to drive performance
Engage and work closely with senior stakeholders who provide healthcare and support services to help identify improvements and changes in practice arising from supply market opportunities
Documenting, communicating and influencing senior stakeholders to ensure effective 'buy-in' to the proposed category strategies
Lead negotiations for supplier contracts
Re-negotiate and draft contracts to deliver cost optimisation and meet savings targets
Take the lead for the procurement process by delivering a portfolio of complex and/or high value contracts
Develop and implement Tender activity as directed by Head of Procurement with internal Divisional leads across the organisation at OJEU levelProfile
Experience in a clinical Procurement setting, managing large, complex end-to end projects
Able to communicate effectively with suppliers including dealing with difficult negotiations
Excellent project management skills and the ability to see through tasks to their successful conclusion within timescales and budgets
Good Commercial awareness and capability, and the ability to realise opportunities
Ability to generate confidence with a range of stakeholders
Always having a key eye for strategical advantages to maximise performance and valueJob Offer
£300 - £400 per day
Flexible working - 2 days in Worcester, 3 days working from home
