Senior Category Manager - North West Anglia:
Eden Brown Synergy are working in partnership with a Leading NHS Trust who are looking to recruit a Senior Category Manager to work in their Procurement Division. Reporting directly to the Procurement Manager you will work to assist them in their role, managing the effective purchasing of all goods and services required by the trust, both medical and non-medical. You will also be responsible for the development of strong customer and stakeholder management, the monitoring and management of procurement projects, and the maintenance of accurate records. Your new role as a Senior Category Manager:
As the Senior Category Manager, you will work with the Procurement Manager to facilitate and deliver the supply of all goods, ensuring that they are of the required high quality and low cost required for the trust to operate effectively. You'll also be working alongside suppliers to ensure that they adhere to the agreed upon KPI's and service levels, ensuring that they are maintained and improved upon across the duration of the agreement. You will support the Trusts Procurement Strategy and will be expected to offer insight to this in order to facilitate the reduction in cost base though the achievement of sustainable cost improvement programmes, supporting all divisions of the trust in hitting their non-pay savings targets.
The Experience & Qualifications Required:
A Postgraduate Degree in procurement or the equivalent level of experience, Experience in an NHS, or Public Sector Procurement setting. A solid knowledge of the current NHS National Agenda, Challenges and of the NHS's Procurement policies. Finally, strong interpersonal and analytical skills are also a must.
