Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £23,522.76 - £24,230.04 per annum
Qualification: Level 3 and above in Early Years Childcare or equivalent
Location: Tenda Road, London, SE16 3PN
South Bermondsey is a beautiful setting looking for an ambitious and meticulous Room Leader. Joining the LEYF Family in 2016, South Bermondsey Nursery has been popular with the community's families, providing a secure and stimulating environment that engages our children and extends their learning. Our new leader must be able to confidently manage the day to day running of the room smoothly, whilst encouraging their team to motivate learning using LEYF's own Pedagogy and positively managing the children's well-being. South Bermondsey Nursery champion meaningful Observations and would expect their Room Leaders to support their teams in producing effective reports.
Job Requirements
Full and relevant childcare qualification at level 3 or above is essential
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
Experience working in room leader or third in charge role within an early year's setting
To be a confident leader, articulating your ideas and using planning and preparation
To distribute staff and resources effectively, maintaining ratios whilst supporting other rooms
To champion LEYF's values and advocate our mission to save the world one child at a time
To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others.
Have a passion for making a difference in their communities.
A child centred approach to teaching using creative and exciting methods to engage and stimulate
