Interim Senior VAT and Tax Accountant

Local Authority

Fully remote, £300-£425/day (negotiable depending on experience).

6 month contact with likelihood of extension.

You will be responsible for:-

Tax and VAT advice across the Authority and external bodies.
Monthly VAT returns.
Partial exemption calculations.
Support assistant accountant and check their returns.

The ideal candidate will have:-

Recent Local Government experience within Tax and VAT.
Given advice in the past, having dealt with varies parties.
Partial exemption experience.
