PR Account Manager

Our client, an award-winning PR Agency, has an exciting opportunity for a PR Account Manager to join their team!
Key skills experience:
* Minimum of 3 years' PR agency experience
* Excellent client communication skills both verbally and via e-mail
* Excellent research and writing skills for a variety of situations and audiences
* Excellent media relations with the ability to 'sell in' and develop pro-active stories
* Ability to lead client meetings and become the main point of contact for clients
The role:
* Establish yourself as the main day-to-day point of contact for clients and maintain professional and effective relationships
* Seek out opportunities for your clients and present ideas to them
* Lead client meetings
* Manage agendas, activity reports and contact reports for clients
* Write blogs and social media posts on behalf of clients & the agency
* Research and develop media and list of bloggers/influencers where appropriate for specific clients/projects
* Manage press ring-rounds e.g., exhibitions and product launches
* Manage social media planners and make ad hoc posts and scheduled posts as required
* Manage small to medium-scale design and digital projects, working with the in-house studio and liaising with clients as appropriate
* Attend pitches as part of a new business team and contribute to new business proposals
* Monitor progress of work and workload of junior members of the account management team
