SEN Teaching Assistant Specification: • Passionate and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant • 1st class or 2:1 degree from a leading UK University • Previous experience working with Special Educational Needs • Strong GCSE results in English / Maths / Science - good background subject knowledge • Proven behaviour management strategies • Excellent oral and written communication skills
SEN Teaching Assistant Role: • SEN Teaching Assistant - General SEN Support within School Inclusion Unit • Small group teaching, 1:1, intervention and booster sessions in core subjects • Help pupils towards academic success and social achievement • Monitor pupil progress with personal development plans • Work with class teachers and school SENCo, opportunity to work with external agencies • £70.00-£80.00 day rate
