Job Title: PMO Project Manager - South East


Eden Brown Synergy is working in partnership with an NHS Organisation based in the South East who are seeking to recruit a PMO Project Manager. Working as part of the PMO Transformation team, the post holder will project manage and lead the delivery of clinical systems implementations which are part of the Transformation and Digital Strategy. The role sits within the Programme Management Office (PMO) in the Transformation Team and follows the PRINCE2 methodology employing technology and process to ensure projects achieve the best possible outcomes to the benefit of all stakeholders, both internal and external to the Trust.

Your new role as a PMO Project Manager:

To provide leadership and guidance on project delivery, championing excellence in support of continuous improvement within digital transformation.
To effectively Project Manage clinically focused information technology projects.
To work closely with the wider IT and Transformation teams in assessing the IT infrastructure capacity, resilience and support requirements.
Responsible for the planning, delivery and organisation of complex projects making use of appropriate project management tools and techniques.
Responsibility for comprehensive documentation for projects and work streams, ensuring that all stakeholders use an agreed set of processes and systems to monitor performance against actions, milestones and timescale and quality.
To maintain oversight of all workstreams' performance against plan, identifying risks, issues and dependencies between projects; advising on and implementing appropriate mitigating and corrective actions or agreed adjustments to the project plan.
Hold the budget for the project, manage resources, timescales and costs and provide regular reports to the Head of Digital Programmes and all relevant Programme and Project Board including highlight and exception reports.
Maintain project risk logs and develop contingency plans for identified issues. Ensure all risk registers are up to date and follow project risk management principles.
To work with the PMO Quality Manager and ensure all local security and confidentiality issues associated with electronic sharing of personal information are identified and ensure the Trust complies with all industry and NHS standard when implementing new innovative technology i.e. HSCIC, NICE
Write project initiation documents, business cases, complex reports and present these in a range of formal settings as and when required.
Responsible for effective management of project meetings and the production of project management documents and reports.

Experience & Qualifications Required:

Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience)
Previous experience managing projects within the NHS, ideally implementing clinical systems
A good understanding of the working processes within clinical areas, knowledge of Clinical Governance and Information Governance and good knowledge of the use of information and information systems used in the NHS
