SALARY: £10.41 - £13.35 per hour - required from March 2022 on a permanent basis
WORKING HOURS: 27.5 hours per week or job share of 13.75 per week, term time only
We are currently working with a High School, part of the Girls' Day School Trust (GDST). They are an independent girls' day school with a reputation for academic excellence, strong pastoral care and a wide breadth of extra-curricular activity. They offer a Nursery, Junior and Senior School across one site and they are proud to be at the forefront of education for girls and a strong voice in promoting opportunities for young women.
They have a pristine fleet of school minibuses and are very excited that this will be expanding in 2022. They are therefore looking to appoint several drivers for transporting pupils on the morning/afternoon school runs, Monday - Friday, term time only, and would be happy to consider either of the following as permanent contracts:
Full role 27.5 hours per week, start times of 6.15am and 3.15pm
Job share, morning or afternoon shift, 13.75 hours per week, start time either 6.15am or 3.15pm
What do you need?
A valid Cat D1 classification on your driving licence plus an acceptable driving record;
The ability to react calmly in emergency situations;
Be at least 21 years of age;
Have or be prepared to take a suitable First Aid qualification;
Maintaining good customer relations with parents and the school and contributing to a good atmosphere on the bus.
Uniform will be provided which includes safety shoes, trousers, polo shirts and a utility fleece
