Logistics SME required for 6 month + contract (remote working) paying up to £650 per day (inside of IR35)
Our client is looking for a subject matter expert with extensive experience in mail and courier services operations who can advise on management of the current service and act as intelligent customer to support defining requirements for future secure delivery contract.
Key experience required:
Strong sector knowledge covering - collection, sortation and distribution of secure/tracked mail - including the final mile & associated technologies / equipment
Developing, implementing, and utilising management information to monitor overall effectiveness of end-to-end distribution (including rework / failure demand & redeliveries).
Qualified by experience to act as intelligent customer to support procurement of new services - from supporting the design, business requirements, challenging solutions/options presented by bidders, evaluation of bids, ability to oversee implementation and mobilisation of the new service.
Experience of customer contact management - customer self-serve (tracking/changing deliveries), customer contact centre insight - call drivers, failure demand and service improvement, monitoring call centre performance - capacity & demand management strategies, reporting and MI - e.g. speed of answer, duration, abandoned rates, customer satisfaction, avoidable contact.
This role is to start in the New Year and will pay circa £600-£650 per day umbrella (inside of IR35) depending on your level of experience. Due to the nature of the organisation and projects you will be working on you will need to be SC Cleared or Clearable
