Monday, Tuesday & Thursday- 3 days per week Maternity Cover

Pay: £150-£190 per day

The Role:

I am working with a Secondary school near Chelmsford, who are looking for an Economics and Business Studies Teacher on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays until summer. The position is a Maternity Cover. An ability to teach both subjects up to A Level is essential. The timetable for the role is heavily Economics, but the ability to teach Business Studies is needed. Knowledge of the International Baccalaureate is desired, but not essential for the position.

The School:

The school is a large, co-educational international school who follow the international baccalaureate curriculum. It's main subject specialism is Languages. The students and staff at the school are welcoming and relaxed, but are passionate about giving their students a well-rounded, all-inclusive education. The School was rated 'Good' in their last Ofsted inspection in 2017. The Economics department strives to deliver the importance of the subject and wants their students to focus on the changes that are constantly happening to the economic environment, which affects businesses, governments, and consumers globally.

What is expected of you?

* To be a supportive and encouraging teacher with a great work ethic.

* A sound understanding of teaching Economics & Business up to KS5

* Able to engage students in each and every lesson.

* Hold QTS

You are paid weekly in arrears, receiving an online payslip with a weekly pay showing your HMRC deductions and holiday pay breakdown.
