Machine Operator

JOB TITLE: Machine Operator (EDM) (Training Offered)
LOCATION: Alcester, Warwickshire
SALARY: £12-£14 per hour (Overtime and Bonus available)
BASIS: Permanent (NIGHT SHIFT AVAILABLE)

Currently recruiting for an established aerospace / gas turbine manufacturing business for Machine Operator (EDM) at their Alcester facility. The business has undertaken some streamlining activities and are now looking to substantially grow this facility over a 4 year plan.

Responsibilities for Machine Operator:

• Use and control of EDM machines and any other machine in that area in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Ability to read and understand CNC machine code to the level required for machine set up and operation.
• Understand all set up parameters and the effect that they have on the process, for example, datum setting and tool length and wear offsets.
• Set up machines with the required work holding and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Complete machining operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.
