Our client are looking for an experienced Procurement Director to join the business during an exciting phase of growth.
As Procurement Director you will be joining a well-established and reputable company with group operations spanning multiple sites. The Procurement Director will be responsible for taking ownership of the company procurement processes and setting, then delivering strategy to develop and evolve working practices.

The Procurement Director will be required to engage at all levels to map processes and identify areas to improve. You will demonstrate a wealth of experience in implementing best practice and be passionate about developing systems and processes to deliver both savings and efficiencies within suppliers and internal processes.

The Procurement Director role will involve:

Development & management of the company Procurement strategy
Monitoring and evaluating internal processes
Serving as the primary contact for procurement questions, training, policy and procedure.
Working with suppliers to establish processes and appropriate contracts to facilitate effective long term supply agreements.
Enhancing organisational value though the development of best fit processes and procedures across all procurement operations.
Developing and training team members along with effective personal development plans to enhance the capabilities within your department.
Work closely with other departments and sites to develop a centralised Procurement program that adds quantifiable value to the organisation. This position is well suited to someone who:

Has demonstrable experience leading procurement strategy and developing processes to deliver measurable improvements to a site or groups operations.
Capable of talking both an hands on and strategic approach to delivering strategy.
Has an engaging management and leadership style
Possesses strong analytical skills and the ability to generate clear businesses cases for change programs.
Ideally has previous experience developing and delivering vendor management programs within group operations.
Strong financial acumen
