Job Title: Finance Compliance Officer

Location: Home based - remote working

Salary: £11- 13 an hour - Interim

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5.00 pm

About the role

The role will support the compliance deliverables, In particular, the role will involve processing and reporting upon screening and due diligence for all third party partnerships, cash beneficiaries and ad-hoc screening requests from various stakeholders.

Job description:

Support the risk management process by Performing the due diligence on third party.
Pro-actively liaising with field offices on a screening and banking matters, providing guidance on solutions.
To analyse and research screening results and identifying any trends or anomalies
Create, manage and update screening dashboards.
Collating and presenting screening results on a monthly basis.
Reviewing Partnership forms utilising both accounting and non-accounting knowledge and providing critical feedback and following though to a memorandum of understanding or rejection documentation.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications

Understanding of compliance vetting and due diligence processes.
Well organised and efficient ability to manage competing deadlines within set time constraints.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel skills; in designing and modifying reports, summarising the findings in Word reports)
Ability to exercise judgement and take decisions on unexpected problems.
Strong written communication skills, able to prepare written procedures, reports and deliver internal presentations.
Strong research and analytical skills


Knowledge of AML and counter terrorism due diligence legislation.
Experience with using compliance screening software.
Experience in conducting background checks, KYC and third-party screenings.
Good all round business acumen and an understanding of the role of the Finance department in adding value to operational decision making.
