Mechanical Fitters Mate

Shorterm Group are looking for a Winch Technician in Borehamwood.

This role would be ideal for someone new in the Mechanical Fitters market or a Mech Fitters mate.

Forklift Counter Balance ticket would also be ideal but not essential.

Job Description

• Reporting to the Production Manager

• Working on refurbishment of equipment returned from the field

• Logging and recording replacement parts consumed during refurbishment

• Cleaning and repairing damaged parts

• Replacing damaged parts and reassembling components

• Degreasing and cleaning up components

• Winch installations

• Fabrication work

• Winch repair

Hours

• Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4:00pm

• Friday 7:30am to 2:30pm

• 1-hour lunch break

• 36-hour week
