As the Credit Risk Manager you will work to:

• Develop credit risk changes and support the delivery of wider business change with credit risk impacts to ensure an appropriate balance between risk prevention and the objectives of the Commercial and Customer Divisions
• Develop credit risk related policies and standards that ensure all regulatory compliance and governance commitments are met
• Deliver credit risk analytics, modelling and MI that drive tangible commercial and customer advantages for the Group and prevents exposure to unplanned credit losses
• Lead a pool of credit risk analytical resource, assigning workloads to ensure appropriately skilled resource is available to support credit risk initiatives within the wider team

As a Credit Risk Manager your responsibilities and duties will include:

Translating & implementing Divisional plans and deliverables to deliver overall Group strategic priorities

• -Develop the capability and capacity of team and/or service resources to drive sustained commercial success
  
  -Communicate the team and/or service delivery priorities, motivating and developing others to be high performing
  
  -Own team and/or service delivery priorities, applying specialist expertise to put the customer at the heart of everything and drive a profitable business
  
  -Develop and maintain key external and internal relationships which create value, collaborating to deliver commercial and customer priorities
  
  -Identify, define and manage risks associated with team and/or service delivery
  
  Essential Skills and Competencies of the Credit Risk Manager :

• Subject Matter Expert in credit risk management & mitigation covering secured Retail and Commercial Real Estate Lending policies, practices and processes
• A minimum of two years' experience of managing credit risk management priorities to deliver planned outcomes
• Experience of a credit risk function in a regulated environment
