Parking Enforcement Team Manager

About the role
As part of a major service transformation, Haringey is seeking to recruit to a new number of new positions. This new operating model will unlock the benefits and efficiencies offered by a new Parking IT system, as well as providing adequate staffing resources to take the transformation programme forward, ensuring that the service continues to adapt to a fast-changing commercial, legislative, technological environment.
We are looking to recruit a Parking Enforcement Team Managers to manage one of the Council's satellite bases, ensuring that the service provided is efficient and effective, minimising illegal parking acts through the issue of penalty charge notices and removal or relocation of vehicles in appropriate cases. To organise and control the use of a team of Enforcement Officers and ensure that the Parking Team delivers a high-quality service with a flexible corporate approach to working. Assist with the day to day management of service contracts, ensuring that proper arrangements are made for the management and maintenance of operational equipment.
About you
We need an experienced Team Manager with in depth knowledge and application of relevant legislation, regulations, procedures and guidance in order to identify offences, carry out appropriate enforcement action and provide management advice. Experience of managing front line operational staff in the field of parking or traffic enforcement with the ability to lead by example, be motivational possessing good interaction skills. Experience of people management including, performance, conduct and absence control issues. Experience of presenting information accurately, clearly and concisely both orally and in writing with the ability to adapt communication style to suit different stakeholders.
