A well-known, multi-award-winning artist management and production company is looking for a Finance Manager to be in charge of the Client Payments function and manage a team of two.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end client payment process within the business, comprising two separate payment runs.

This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with talent managers and their assistants as well as the rest of the finance team across all divisions.

Key Responsibilities

* Artist statements are produced, approved and paid within the timeframe (weekly/fortnightly)
* Receipts are recorded and matched to invoices daily with bacs income sent out to management team
* Payments matched against relevant booking slip/booking information
* Cashbook is maintained and reconciled weekly to the client bank accounts
* Distribution of artist remittances to assistants and accountants within the specified timeframe of payment run
* Working closely with management assistants, TV production finance team & live booking team to ensure completeness of payments
* Producing analysis of client payments (eg: tax and financial year summaries)
* Maintaining/reviewing bank reconciliations
* Dealing with artist and accountant payment queries
* Producing analysis of client payments (eg: tax and financial year summaries)
* Liaising with artists and accountants on tax forms for work abroad
* Monthly reporting for management accounts
* Annual HMRC reporting for client income
* Quarterly FEU tax forms
* Working on monthly income analysis and forecast income with management accountant
* Dealing with international currencies and FX transfers

About you
* 3 plus years' experience working within a finance function in a similar artist management/production business business
* An interest in media or entertainment industry
* Able to effectively collaborate across various departments
* Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and Excel skills
* Highly organised with the ability to take initiative and work to deadlines
