Project Accountant

A successful retail business is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate.

You will support the financial controller and CFO on duties such as:

• Track all of the financial components of a project including Revenue, COGs and Cashflow
• Monitor the progress of projects, investigates variances, and ensure that contractor terms, such as valuation deadlines are met
• Own the cashflow reporting and oversee the timely collection of funds including retentions
• Maintaining and updating WIP and invoicing schedules
• Implementing robust processes and control that are adequate for a scaling business
• Development and control of business critical KPI's
• Business partnering with project teams
• Partnering Business Development Managers, Project Managers and the Legal team on tenders, ensuring all financial aspects are covered, including risks and cash flow
• Business partnering with non-finance managers to develop processes and the understanding of financial requirements

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience in project accounting, including cash flow. Any exposure to FP&A would be a plus.
