Junior Paralegal
We are proud to be representing this well established and reputable law firm in the Reading Area who are looking for a Legal Secretarial & Administrative Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team.
Reporting directly to the Office Manager you will support firm's different departments with a range of administrative responsibilities. This will include support to the Company and Commercial and Residential Conveyancing Departments and also support to other departments that will include; Private Client, Litigation and Employment Law and Family Law.
You will need to have a real interest in law together with an excellent keyboard skill with typing at 60wpm plus. This position could suit a recent law graduate (or similar) to a well-established Legal Support Assistant/Secretary who thrives on working in a busy and varied role.
Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Secretarial and Administrative support to the fee earners
The preparation of correspondence, audio and copy typing
Scanning of documentation onto the case management system
Preparation of documents, letters, invoices etc.
Marketing - including the maintenance of the client database
Dealing with enquiries over the telephone and via email
Opening and closing files on the file management system
Diary Management
Processing of payments
Project work
Ad hoc administrative tasks
Apart from having a proven keyboard skill you will need to have a sound knowledge of MS Office, enjoy working as part of a team, able to carry out your role with keen attention to detail and work to tight deadlines.
