Control Systems Engineer - Surrey
Our client, a market leader in the design and manufacture of complex Electronic products for the Defence industry are currently recruiting for a Control Systems Engineer. You'll be responsible for the design and development of COTS PLC and SCADA based solutions that form part of a Platform Management System for a Naval Defence Programme
Your duties:
Obtain, plan and develop customer requirements
Design and develop COTS PLC Hardware solutions
Produce technical documentation
Work with other engineering disciplines such as Software, Mechanical & Electrical Design and V&V to develop and provide solutions to the products
Liaise with external suppliers whilst maintaining a good working relationship
Ensuring products meet the required standards and regulatory requirements
Integrate "Off the shelf" electronic / electrical equipment
Ad hoc duties as and when required
Skills required:
Degree qualified
Highly experienced Design Engineer
Design and integration experience of complex electronic / electrical systems and equipment
Experience with either COTS, PLC or SCADA control systems
Eligible for "UK Eyes only" Security Clearance
