Your new company
This fast-growing business is looking to disrupt the landscape within their area of Financial Services. They now have capacity to bring on an additional Full Stack .Net Developer to work 2-3 days per week in their head office location in Poole, Dorset - just a few minutes from the beach with parking on site.

There is flexibility here as to the experience you have with 'all the technologies', it much more about the right attitude to learn. The team is award-winning and big on culture so it's an exciting time to be getting involved.

Your new role
The role is varied and will provide the opportunity to collaborate with all members of the wider IT team. It's a flat structure where open communication is encouraged and Agile is practised. You'll also get real-time feedback from users within the business, working on bespoke projects with a measurable outcome.

Day to day you'll be working to keep the internal systems performant in tandem with sinking teeth into proper greenfield projects. It's an ever-changing industry so there's no shortage of avenues to explore, and as an online-first business the Development team are enablers and crucial to their overall success.

To flourish working here you'll need to have hunger and drive. There's a pattern of people joining and accelerating their career, you'll be challenged at every level, not pigeon-holed.

What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you've delivered .Net projects from a web perspective (Asp.Net / MVC / CORE) using C# or Vb.Net and have an understanding of the JavaScript ecosystem, ideally using modern frameworks such as Angular / React Native / Node.

The team adopt the best tool for the job, so exploring new technologies will be commonplace and they will be implemented, not just left as suggestions.

Whilst you do not need all modern skills from day 1, you should have an appreciation of software best practice and clean code. Any knowledge of Azure, Testing and CI/CD will be a bonus.

What you'll get in return
There's a big push on well-being in the company with a busy social calendar, break out areas, flexible working hours (1.5 hours either side of 9-5:30pm), 34 days holiday from day 1 (including bank) and free gym membership. The company will also fund conferences, training and certifications that are relevant to your progression.
