Are you an excellent SEND Tutor looking for a new long term role?

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a passionate and nurturing SEND lecturer to work in a Higher Education setting in Hull, starting ASAP, and lasting until February half term 2022. This is a temporary contract, covering a sickness absence, which is likely to extend until Easter (or possibly longer). This is a part time position, long term role covering a vacant position, with a salary that will be between £23,000 and £29,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This is a 4.5 day per week position (0.9 timetable).

The school itself is a leading provider in the region for providing excellent care to their students. There is a large onsite car park for those candidates that do have access to a car. For candidates who do not have access to a car, there are regular bus routes making it extremely accessible.

You will be working within a successful SEND department, with a fantastic head of department who will assist with planning and marking to ensure that this will be minimal.

To be successful for this role you will need to:

Has experience working with students aged 11-18
Has a PGCE or equivalent
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
CVs must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)
Legal Right to work in the UK
