ABC Teachers is looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our successful team and work in a local primary school in South Birmingham. This HLTA role is due to commence in January 2022, on a full-time, ongoing basis.

About the role:

Working as part of a dynamic and creative team, the successful HLTA will focus on delivering outstanding practice and provide support for both the teachers and pupils in Key Stage 1.

Requirements:

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• A Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent as well as relevant experience working as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

• Be a positive influence in the classroom and on individual's learning, as well as be able to give feedback on learning.

• Assist with learning but also have the confidence to lead activities to aid or to cover the class teacher.

• Have an ability to meet the pupil's individual needs in a busy classroom environment.

• Have a positive approach to working with pupils, demonstrating a can-do attitude.

• Have the ability to organise and prioritise own workload whilst working alone or as part of a team

• Have a dynamic personality with the ability to demonstrate drive, passion and enthusiasm
