Data Architect - Inside IR35
Exciting opportunity to for a Data Architect to carry out the following:
To design conceptual and logical data models to fulfil the strategic data needs of the business and programmes of work to support the company's strategic direction and business unit and customer challenges.
To support the integration of business domains and processes via consistent sets of reference and master data; achieved by setting standards for data deliverables and aligning that to the business units' needs.
To develop the relevant data standards required to support the overall maturity improvement of the Data Management capability.
To work with the other Digital services departments including Technical Architects and Business SMEs to support delivery of the data strategy and associated business outcomes.If you have the following skills are looking for a new challenge get in touch today:
Expert knowledge in the use of a wide range of data modelling and design techniques, especially conceptual, logical, and physical entity relationship diagrams.
Strong knowledge of data structures, data warehouse techniques, database management systems and unstructured data sources.
Expert knowledge of data management practices, including ethics, governance, security, reference and master data, metadata management, data quality, and data maturity. Preferably this is supported by membership (or a willingness to obtain) of a professional body such as The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or The Data Management Association (DAMA).
Expert problem solving ability to translate business requirements into effective data models.
Knowledge of document management practices, including approval, version control, and document identification methods.
Significant experience working in a data service environment developing data related solutions.
