Our client based in Market Harborough is seeking an experienced Payroll Bureau Manager to join them on a permanent, full time basis.
As the Payroll Manager, you will report into the Director and oversee a payroll team, responsible for processing multiple client payrolls on a monthly basis.
Responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
Hands on with high volume, client payrolls on a monthly basis
Calculating SPP, SMP, SPP, processing new starters, leavers
Process BACS files
Leading and developing the team, appraisals
Contributing to business development
Leading on payroll implementation processes
Managing exposure to payroll riskExperience required:
Strong people management experience
Experience of processing client payrolls in a bureau or accountancy environment
Project/payroll systems implementation experience is highly desirableThis position will be office based initially with some longer term flexibility to work remotely for 1-2 days a week. Annual leave entitlement is 25 days + bank holidays, with working hours of 8:30-5pm.
