GFI (Global Financial Institutions) Researcher

Our business has grown rapidly over the past few years, and we are looking for a driven, hard-working, organized individual to join our dynamic Data Quality and Analysis area as GFI (Global Financial Institutions) Researcher. Our analysts and researches are a key part of Citywire's business, enabling us to better classify, understand and interact with our audience.

This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the investment industry. Working across Citywire's two key databases of Audience and Fund Managers, you will be responsible for analysis, research and information delivery. You will also be involved in research projects and will be encouraged to contribute ideas and observations to the business.

Main responsibilities

- Researching the world's largest financial institutions on their global footprint and investment outlook.

- Managing a data and news product for global financial institutions .

- Working with Citywire's global editorial team to increase coverage and audience of global financial institutions.

Job specific skills and requirements

- at least 2 years of previous experience in a Research/Analyst role at similar level within the Finance sector. Other experience will also be considered.

- Good communication and presentation skills - you will be required to work with departments across the business and with stakeholders at all levels.

- Good Microsoft Excel skills are essential - exposure to vlookups and similar formulas

- Analytical mind-set with the ability to research and find key pieces of information. Continually asking questions of the data available to you

- Ability to work with large datasets, spotting trends and similarities in the data

- Organised and Methodical - you'll be able to manage changing objectives and multiple workflows

- Knowledge of the Asset Management Industry would be advantageous.
