Managed Services Solutions Architect - Home-Based - £55-60k + bonus
Concept IT are looking for a Managed Services Solutions Architect to join a growing IT solutions company who have had some recent investment for growth.
This would be a great opportunity for an experienced MS solutions architect looking for their next challenge or a presales consultant/business development manager who still has a keen eye for technical detail.
This role provides support to sales executives in customer meetings, preparing service cost estimates and written documentation such as proposals and scopes of work for a variety of solutions in the Managed Services portfolio. You will be attending customer calls and face to face meetings, technically qualifying, and developing opportunities and running demonstrations alongside your peers in the sales team to customers and prospects in the SMB marker.
The specialization for this vacancy is Cloud and Managed Services.
Qualify and discover customer requirements that align to the solutions and services on offer
Provide a high-level design that meets customer requirements and budgets including -
Service sizing & Service Estimates using vendor/internal pricing tools
Scope of works
Technical proposals inc. High Level diagrams and business outcome justifications
Present solutions to customers ensuring it is understood how it meets with their requirements
Be the first point of contact for technical queries for the opportunities assigned to you providing explanations, demonstrations and engaging vendor/internal resources where required ensure the solution is positioned accurately
Handover with the Project Management Office (PMO) for closed won opportunities that require professional services and/or project management servicesKnowledge and Experience
Previous experience at an MSP
Vendor sizing & pricing tools - Azure Pricing calculator, Microsoft Cost Calculator etc.
Preferred product knowledge (some of the following)
Security Managed Services
Network Managed Services
On-prem / Private Cloud VMware deployments
Other Cloud, Disaster Recovery and Backup solutions (desirable)
Estimating professional services for implementation of above solutions, quoting time to deliver against an agreed scope of works
Ability to assist sales in commercially understanding components of complex solutions
Experience selling to SMBSalary on offer is £55-60k + bonus + package
