The Maintenance Fitter / Maintenance Engineer position is days based Monday to Friday, with no shifts. It is offering an OTE over £50k per annum, plus a bonus, excellent pension and employee benefits program, etc. It is working with a market-leading international manufacturing business close to the Bedford area. The position offers fantastic opportunities for both accredited training and personal development.

Applicants are invited from either a mechanical maintenance engineering background.

What's in it for you:

Basic salary £40k per annum (40hrs), plus 5 hours OT per week taking earning to £47.5k per annum (45 hours per week), plus overtime at a premium is also available every other Saturday morning for those who want it, taking earnings to over £50k per annum, excellent pension up to 10% company contribution, annual bonus opportunity, cycle to work scheme, child care vouchers etc, etc.
Hours of work: DAYS working Monday to Friday. e.g 8am - 4pm, 1 hours OT available from 7am each morning too

Main Duties & Experience required:
Providing plant-wide maintenance service, departmental support, and mechanical repairs ensuring that all production targets are maintained.
Pneumatic, hydraulic, and stik/mig welding skills
Recognized Engineering qualification- NVQ, City and Guilds etc in mechanical engineering
High degree of Health & Safety awareness.
Ability to fault find, repair, and provide solutions to problems.
