Nursery Practitioner

An exciting position has become available for a full-time Nursery Practitioner based in Leicestershire. The successful candidate will earn £8.91 - £10 depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will be NVQ Level 3 qualified or above and will have a genuine desire to support children and help them to reach their full potential in a safe environment.

Role Requirements

A good understanding of EYFS and early years practice.
You will be reliable and enthusiastic.
You will understand the importance of working with families.
You will be able to work as part of a team.
Role Responsibilities

To deliver a high standard of learning, development and care for children.
To develop partnerships with parents/carers to increase involvement in their child's development.
To provide a safe, caring, stimulating educational environment, both indoors and outdoors, at all times.
To deliver an appropriate play based Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum that enables children to make individual progress.
To plan activities which ensure each child is working towards the early learning outcomes.
To be a key person to your assigned children.
To ensure records are properly maintained, e.g., daily attendance register, accident and incident book, risk assessments, observations.
To work in partnership with senior management to update and review the self-evaluation and improvement plan.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the nursery requirements.
