The University of Surrey is one of the UK's leading public research universities. Join 2,500 staff and 17,000 students in an inspiring, innovative and diverse environment to make a positive impact through free-thinking and hard work.

At the University of Surrey, we are committed to delivering exciting and transformational change in how we deliver both teaching and support to our student community and how we support our academic and professional services colleagues to deliver this. We in IT Services are undertaking a number of change programmes in support of these key objectives and we are committed to ensuring we have the tools and infrastructure in place so that this can be delivered effectively and securely.

You will play a vital role in the development of our technical solutions and business processes by producing the high-quality analysis necessary to inform decisions and implement successful identity and access management across the university. You will work closely with the Programme Manager (Cyber Security), and stakeholders across the organisation to elicit the information necessary for evidence-based decision making. This will support technical and business change, maximising the quality and efficiency of processes, changes and systems. You will work with integrity and have a positive impact on how we build identities and manage role-based access to services and resources across the organisation.

You will be professionally qualified with Business Analysis Certification and your application will demonstrate experience of technical business analysis. We are also looking for you to have experience of leading the analysis of large and complex problems/requirements, and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders and elicit requirements clearly and concisely. This is an exciting opportunity for you to build your knowledge and experience in a core area of modern technology and business processes.

In return we offer a generous pension, relocation assistance, flexible working options including job share and blended home/campus working locations (dependent on work duties), access to world-class leisure facilities on campus, a range of travel schemes and supportive family friendly benefits including an excellent on-site nursery.

The University of Surrey is committed to providing an inclusive environment that offers equal opportunities for all. We value everyone in our community and are seeking to increase the diversity. Therefore, we particularly encourage applications from under-represented groups, such as people from Black, Asian and minority ethnic groups and people with disabilities.
