Nursery Practitioner - Westcliff- On-Sea (SS0)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (will consider a 4 day working week)
Hours: upto hours per week
Pay: Starting at minimum wage (dependent on age)
The successful candidate will:
Have a minimum NVQ Level 2 Childcare qualification.
Previous experience of preferably 1 year or more of working within a nursery setting.
Knowledge of the new EYFS and how to implement in practice.
Good record keeping, including making observations through electronic systems and able to prepare written child developmental report.
Have a passion for working with children
Provide a nurturing and enabling environment, following the individual child's needs and interests to best meet their social and developmental aim.
Be able to plan and implement activities and learning experiences for the children in your care with minimum supervision.
Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Be able to work well in a team
Be reliable, committed, and enthusiastic to the role
Be driven to further your career in childcare through a planned programme of in-house training provided by the client
Preferably already hold certification in paediatric first aid, and food hygiene.
Room Leader Level 3
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40hours per week
Pay: £22,000 per annum
In addition to the above requirements, for this position the successful applicant will:
Have a minimum NVQ Level 3 Childcare qualification;
Have at least two years' experience of a similar role acting as Room Leader;
Have a good understanding of the new EYFS and how best to implement this through your teaching and care of the children;
Be able to undertake planning of activities for the children and ensuring that this is delivered;
Be able to support the work of the Special Educational Needs Coordinator in the planning and implementation of programmes to best support these children in your room;
To be able to mentor and provide support to a small number of peers working closely with you;
To supervise the preparation and delivery of children's developmental reports and liaison with parents;
To work with the Nursery Manager and Deputy in progressing the general aims of the nursery setting Benefits:
