A client of ours in between Stowmarket & Needham Market is recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their small and friendly accounts team! This is a full-time permanent role working Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm and a negotiable salary of £23,000 - £25,000 per annum.
Day to day duties for this Accounts Assistant would include but are not limited to:
Purchase Ledger:
Purchase Orders
Delivery notes
Invoices/Credit Notes
Statements
Company Credit Cards
Payments
Remittances
Reporting
Month End ProcessesSales Ledger:
Invoicing
Credit CheckingAd-hoc Duties:
Assist the Finance Manager with any ad-hoc tasks as needed.
Answer telephone calls into the Finance department and transfer to the relevant people.
Ad-hoc ordering of items for refreshments etc.The preferred skills & experience required to be considered:
Experience of working in a similar busy, multi-tasking, Accounts role
Good communication skills
Efficiency and proactive approach to work
Happy to help attitude
Sage & Excel Knowledge (desirable)
You must be a Driver with your own vehicle due to remote location of the role Benefits to working here:
