We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Affiliate Marketing Executive to join our growing Digital Marketing team in either our York(YO26) or Leeds(LS1) office. The position is a full time permanent role, responsible for helping to drive customer acquisition and customer retention for our successful family owned and run retail business that is in a huge period of growth. We offer flexible start and end times to the working day and some hybrid working.
We are in the process of moving our digital advertising from agency based to inhouse and this role will be fundamental in this transition. The ideal candidate will be responsible for over £500k of digital marketing budget across the core (Pavers & Jones Bootmaker) and number of emerging brands, however with ambitious plans to more than quadruple turnover in the next 5 years, we envisage this budget growing very quickly.
The ideal candidate will be ambitious individual and have at least 1 to 2 years' hands-on experience establishing and running Affiliate campaigns (ideally in the retail/fashion sectors) across a number of Affiliate networks (Awin & Webgains preferably). The ideal candidate will also have excellent communication, interpersonal, organisational and analytical skills. The role has great potential for personal career growth as the department continues to grow and would suit an ambitious person with willingness and aptitude to expand their knowledge in the wider marketing channels.
Main duties of our Affiliate Marketing Executive in the Digital Marketing Team:
Reporting into the Digital Marketing Manager, help to create and deliver class leading affiliate strategies across UK and international territories
Lead the onboarding of new and optimisation of new and existing Affiliate relationships/campaigns
Proactively seek and highlight new opportunities internationally and in the UK within the Affiliate networks
Identify and develop key strategic relationships with our Affiliate networks and publishers
Experience of optimising campaigns to keen business KPIs
Experience implementing the latest optimisation technologies and techniques to optimise channel performance.
Reporting of campaign/channel performance to senior stakeholders on a weekly/adhoc basis
Briefing advertising assets with product and seasonal updates in line with best practices
Demonstrate critical thinking to highlight opportunities to innovate and drive growth
Requirements to be our Affiliate Marketing Executive in the Digital Marketing Team:
A strong working knowledge of Affiliate marketing platforms/networks (Awin & Webgains preferable)
Minimum of 1 to 2 years' experience working in Affiliate marketing (Agency or client-side)
Experience of launching and establishing new brands across the Affiliate networks
Proven track record of successfully running, optimising and growing Affiliate market campaigns (preferably in the fashion/retail sector)
Have strong test and learn methodology to maximise the scale and efficiency within the Affiliate channel
Experience of launching and establishing new brands across the Affiliate networks (international experience would be desirable, but not essential)
Excellent time management and highly organised
Be open minded, adaptable, intelligent, and open to change
Display a 'can do' attitude and be willing to help the wider marketing teams
Be proactive and be constantly learning new technologies and marketing methodologies
Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
Display personality and humour, with a professional and positive attitude
Meticulous attention to detail

Salary: Circa £30,000 depending on experience plus:
