Role Overview

The test manager is an Inoapps leader in their field of expertise, who consistently delivers and exceeds their targets. They will have a positive can-do attitude, demonstrate the 'can do' attitude and encourage other team members to do the same.

The test manager will look after the implementation and co-ordination of End-2-End assurance and test management in a project development life cycle. They need to understand the theory behind test management and be able to apply the 'how' on the relevant testing approach.

Key Responsibilities

Test Management

Liaise at all levels with both Inoapps and our clients on testing strategies, test plans, test schedules, prepare and lead entry/exit gates and lead overall test management within the project

Define the scope then plan, deploy, and manage the testing effort for any given engagement/release/upgrade

Organising test management activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the client project/programme

Deploy and manage the appropriate testing framework and associated infrastructure to a project

Create and define RACI(s)

Set up governance defining roles and responsibilities

Be able to assess customer readiness through audit and feedback appropriately

Provide authoritative and expert guidance to the test team and others as required

Champion best practice for QA working closely with practice lead on current templates

* Managing and growing testing assets required for meeting our testing/QA obligations:

* Testing tools

* Testing processes

* Test Scripts

* Coaching and mentoring team members, peer groups and managers within the customer readiness team to keep up with best practice

* Provide recommendations regarding issues, processes, and quality assurance procedures and proactively seek opportunities to improve on existing processes

* Collaborate with customer readiness practice lead in promoting quality assurance and QA mindset


Essential Skills, Experience and Qualities:

* Oracle EBS or Cloud experience

* Experience in test management within projects and understands best practices

* Strong communication skills to ensure Inoapps QA vision is understood and adopted comprehensively and inspires others to adopt the highest quality standards

* Proven track record of meeting deadlines and working to set objectives and timescales

* Demonstrate capability and experience, inspiring confidence with the stakeholders and the team

* Excellent presentation and listening skills

* Understanding of risk management

* Understanding of quality assurance and best practices

* Ability to create and run reports to a high standard of accuracy

* ISTQB or ISEB certification in foundation level

Desirable Skills, Experience and Qualities:

* Good problem investigation skills

* Background in client facing roles

* Use of testing and reporting tools and producing accurate reports in a client facing role

* ISTQB or ISEB certification in Test Manager

The following areas of responsibility would be managed by Practice Lead/ Line Manager WITH SUPPORT FROM Team lead

* Day to day assignment of Resource Forecasting and project planning

* Team planning and recruitment activities

* Support for Sales and Pre-Sales activity within specialist areas
