Assistant Management Accountant

Morgan McKinley Northern Home Counties are delighted to be working with an SME business to recruit a Graduate Management Accountant, based in Northamptonshire. They are looking for someone to start immediately for a 4 month contract, with the possibility to extend.

Role

In this newly created position, you will work closely with the Financial Controller, supporting with the management accounting activities.

Key Responsibilities;

* Supporting with the monthly management accounts

* Assisting with year end audit

* Accrual and prepayments

* Monthly review and analysis of 3rd party Invoicing

* Conducting monthly reconciliations

* Support the finance team in the preparation of regular forecasts

* Providing assistance with any adhoc finance work

The ideal candidate profile

* Strong interpersonal and communication skills

* Can-do attitude

* Excellent analytical skills

* Strong excel skills

* High literate and numerate skills

* Studying towards a recognised qualification (ACCA/CIMA)

Salary & Benefits

The working hours are Monday - Friday 08.30-17.30, Remote only

The Client will consider up to £20 per hour
