Junior Reporting Analyst

We have a brand-new internal Marketing team who are looking for a proactive individual to work underneath the Commercial Marketing & Reports Manager to generate global campaign reports and analysis. These reports are imperative to expanding business revenues and developing campaign performances through MI and data examination. We are incredibly passionate and excited about what Marketing can do for Citywire globally, and we are therefore looking to grow the team internally to drive this forward.

Main responsibilities

Working under the Commercial Marketing & Reports Manager, the candidate will help drive critical business decisions through the analysis of campaign performance data and communicate results to internal teams. The candidate will work closely with Citywire Engage, Sales, Email & Social Media departments to track all asset performances and provide campaign improvement suggestions based on the data findings. They will need to be creative and inspired by current affairs and trending marketing techniques to bring fresh, new ideas and suggestions to campaigns that could improve the performance data. They will need to be sufficient in understanding data, have experience with using Excel and be confident in making technical information easy to understand for non-technical colleagues. As this is a new role, we expect the responsibilities and daily tasks to develop and increase over time, and so are looking for a candidate who is willing to embrace changes and be flexible around additional duties.

- Managing the data collection platform to gather data and create client reports for the sales team.

- Chasing outstanding or insufficient data for client reports.

- Defining data audits that flag issues with processes/ promotion, so that they can be identified and resolved quickly (using both data and initiative to identify issues and create solutions).

- Managing the structure and completeness of the reporting templates.

- Implementing regular data checks for ongoing campaigns.

- Provide comprehensive reporting solutions to the Commercial Marketing & Reports Manager and highlight evidence to support decision making.

- Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and data studio including pivots, charts and V look ups.

- Strong commercial awareness of objectives and understands KPI's

- Someone who is confident and enjoys working within a team.

- Has a desire to learn and grow within the role.
