Required to teach on PSV/ Motor Vehicle courses both theory and practical up to the equivalent of
NVQ Level 3.
Have a flexible and innovative approach to the management of the student learning programme.
Lead on the PSV Apprenticeship programme and Full Cost Recover
Liaise with parents/guardians, schools and other organisations as appropriate.
Carry out appropriate course administration including lesson plans and schemes of work.
Comply with the Quality Assurance procedures of the College.
Maintain appropriate learning resources.
Participate in college Enrolment, Induction and Open Days and attend meetings, marketing events
and other relevant functions as required by the line manager.
Ensure "In Attendance" time is carried out to meet the needs of the students.
To carry out student assessments using a range of techniques and tools determined by the College.
Monitor the academic progress of students on their courses, including tracking skills and arranging
additional support where required.
Set targets for improvement and provide constructive feedback on progress.
Provide pastoral care, student support, initial advice and guidance, including the safeguarding and
promotion of the students' welfare.
Assist in the development of appropriate curriculum initiatives.
Work with others to monitor, evaluate and improve the effectiveness of learning, including the use
of lesson observations
