Could you be our next Desktop Support Engineer? We are one of London's leading IT support companies, looking for an experienced and ambitious candidate to join our busy helpdesk team.

Desktop Support Engineer

Salary: £27,000 - £31,000

Full Time, Permanent Role (40hrs a week, Mon-Fri)

Permanent - 3 month initial probation

We need a new Desktop Support Engineer to join our busy helpdesk team in our City of London office, supporting a range of clients from a variety of sectors including law and finance.

You will be a self-starter who is motivated, detail oriented and has strong communication skills.

The Role

As Desktop Support Engineer you will be:

* Taking support queue calls and logging/updating service tickets.
* Providing remote and on-site support to our clients.
* Carrying out routine maintenance on client systems as required.
* Assisting in the setup of new users and computers for clients.
* Participating in projects as required.
* Providing a high standard of customer service to all clients, communicating clearly, maintaining a professional image and providing regular updates on service tickets.
* Ensuring all ticket response and resolution SLAs are met.
* Ensuring relevant client documentation is updated when changes are made.
* Maintaining a good understanding of our core managed service offerings.

The Ideal Candidate

To be selected for interview, you MUST be able to demonstrate a minimum of one year working in an IT support role using all of the following technologies:

* Microsoft 365 (admin tenant)
* Windows 10
* Microsoft Office
* Basic understanding of Networking

This is a customer facing role, so excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential, as is a demonstrable attention to detail and strong organizational skills.


* £27,000 - £31,000 package + company profit share scheme
* Funded training and certifications
* 20 days annual leave (+ bank holidays) increasing by 1 day for each full year of service up to a maximum of 25 days
