Engineering Apprenticeships Standards Manager
Middlesex
Up to £49,085 p/a

We're currently looking to recruit a motivated, agile manager with experience of delivering apprenticeships in either Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering. You will be responsible for the curriculum management of Mechanical and Electrical/Electronic Engineering across the education provider's Technical Apprenticeship School, building effective working relationships with employers and external bodies and ensuring the highest standard of quality assurance, whilst line managing a team of diverse lecturers and assessors.

To be eligible for this role, you MUST have:
-A relevant degree in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering or related area, and an advanced level teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE/DET or equivalent)
-Minimum of 3 years' successful teaching experience relevant to the subject area, preferably in Further Education
-Understanding of Work Based Learning programmes, and good knowledge of Apprentice/learner pathways into Standards
-Experience of teaching or assessing in the relevant subject area (minimum 3 years), and experience of delivering apprenticeships in either Mechanical or Electronic Engineering

The starting salary for this role goes up to a maximum of £49,085 p/a, which also includes a teachers pension and a very generous non-term time holiday allowance.
