A business based near Malton is currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Administrator to support their team on a temporary basis at an hourly rate of between £9 - £11, dependent on experience.

You will be supporting the transactional finance team during a busy period for the business on an ongoing basis.

Reporting into the Accounts Payable Team Leader you will be responsible for:

Processing invoices efficiently whilst being thorough, checking that all the information has been verified
Taking phone calls from suppliers and other company sites, and upholding a polite and courteous manner
Sorting the post, reconciling statements and answering supplier and site queries
Presenting a professional image to internal and external customers, upholding the positive image of the Shared Service Centre and supporting a strong positive customer relationship
Building strong working relations with the accounts payable team and broader shared service department
Assisting in producing of weekly KPI performance data, including the use of excel spread-sheets
Working with the accounts payable team leader in the setting of agreed performance targets, and reporting against achievement of targets
Any additional adhoc duties are also expected to be completed in a timely mannerWe are keen to speak with individuals who have previous experience in an Account Payable/Purchase Ledger position and who have previous experience working with accountancy software (SAGE, SAP, Xero, QuickBooks). Alternatively, you may be a strong administrator who is keen to gain some experience in a fast-paced finance environment.

You will gain valuable experience working in a large, manufacturing business and will also have the opportunity to apply for permanent roles within the business if you wish.
