The Role - English Teaching Assistant

As an English Teaching Assistant, your role is to help pupils reach their academic potential by providing them with the close guidance and additional resources. The position will involve working with students in small groups or on a 1:1 basis both within the classroom or through intervention classes. You will often be working with students who are underachieving so the successful English Teaching Assistant would have a patient and understanding approach. You must have excellent communication and teamwork skills as well.

The School - English Teaching Assistant

This is a secondary school based in Merton that caters to young people from ages 11 to 18. It teaches a wide Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 curriculum that allows students to explore their interests and gain different skills.
