Manufacturing Shift Team Leader(s) are required for a World Leading Engineering Company based in the UK.

Job: Manufacturing Shift Team Leader

Location: Bath

Salary: £49k

The basic function of this role is to ensure that the Manufacturing Shift (MS) functions to its optimum level of safety, efficiency and effectiveness to meet customer and company expectations with regard to the quality of the products produced, to associated procedures culminating in fully capable and reliable processes; with the equipment provided and human resources that shall have a flexible skill-set.

This is a "hands-on" role in which a percentage of the working time shall be spent operating the machines within the requirements of the respective processes, for each of the products within the defined portfolio.

The MSTL shall have a pivotal role in the development of a team culture that promotes and encourages a continual improvement mind-set towards Safety, People, Products, Processes, Procedures and overall performance outputs

As the successful Manufacturing Shift Team Leader(s) you will have the following knowledge and experience:-

Relevant experience in a CNC machine shop environment.

Demonstrable skill-set to set and run the majority of the machine tools on the MS within the defined processes on the respective portfolio of products.

Ability to supervise by organising, coaching, mentoring, developing and motivating team members.

Attributes: open minded, change orientated, target driven, goal achieving, methodical, supportive, forward thinking with a positive, proactive and approachable leadership style.

Good communicator at all levels of the business.

Computer literate - spread sheets and word processing.
