Job title: SEO Tech Manager | Permanent
Location: Hull
Salary: up-to £24,000-£32,000, depending on experience

The successful candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of SEO tools such as Search Console, SEMRush and Google Analytics; being able to conduct tech audits and recommend solutions to assist in improving traffic.

A glimpse into the role:
You'll take the lead on creating and leading SEO Tech activity for clients'. You'll be able to develop and execute strategy in line with objectives, with support and guidance from the strategy team.
Furthermore, the role will entail you to be savvy with tracking and reporting on performance according to relevant targets and KPIs; investigating and troubleshooting where necessary. Regularly communicating with client(s), and cultivating a positive and collaborative working relationship.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Client delivery:
Responsible for performance and managing SEO Tech activity in line with client objectives
Analysing issues and opportunities in performance, working with the strategy and product teams to identify and implement recommended solutions.
Assisting the Senior Account Manager in developing relationships and maintaining strong communication with clients
Accountable for ensuring all work is completed on time and to a high standard.
Reporting on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to monitor KPIs and be able to answer the 'why' for performance
Lead regular client calls to discuss performance and action, and build confident client relationships
Attending client meetings and take on the role presenting, asking appropriate questions, and contributing to discussions.
Supporting in deck creating for QBR and client meetings, using a high attention to detail and accuracy data pulling
Client strategy development:
Working collaboratively with the strategy team to understand changes in the paid media landscape, adopting new features and tactics to improve client performance and meet client goals
Best Practice development and application:
Share knowledge and learnings with wider teams in client and product to ensure strategic knowledge and insights are available for all teams' benefit
Embracing and adopting new best practices, ways of working and recommendations made by the strategy team to ensure consistency across the client teams.
Assist in training and development of fellow colleagues as and where required.
Personal specification:
Experience in successfully executing SEO Tech activity and projects
Effective communication skills
Excellent attention to detail: careful and thorough gathering complete information
Strives for quality
Interest and knowledge in SEO best practices
A track record of analysing performance issues and opportunities
Strong experience in the MS office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint.
Experience using a suite of core SEO Tech performance and analysis tools such as (or similar to) Linkdex, Sitebulb, Screaming Frog, and ahrefs.
Tracking and reporting knowledge
Open to change and able to adapt to new situations
Can effectively plan work effectively, setting priorities accordingly
Performs even under stressful situations and has a positive, consistent influence across the business
