Fully Remote-Development Manager-Workflow-Hands Off

Manager, Workflow will be responsible for the planning and delivery of automation of Index business processes through implementing workflow automation and UI solutions required to achieving strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities
  • Work with business and IT Leadership to understand technology and business strategy and elaborate the use cases and target state requirements for automation
  • Drive assessment of Index Management (IM) business processes and delivery of automated workflow tooling
  • Drive delivery of Index user interfaces, dashboards, visualisations and reporting as required
  • Build and implement requisite tooling to support IM team with exception management processes
  • Responsible for end-to-end scoping, planning, development, testing and implementation
  • Support IM teams to meet regulatory requirements, governance, polices and standards
  • Build and mentor the performance and development of a team of developers across regions and third-party consultants
  • Act as the primary tech point of contact for business process automation & workflow tooling for all internal and external stakeholders

Key requirements

Technical/ job functional knowledge
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electronics / Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
  • Significant experience in software development methodologies and Agile based delivery
  • Extensive experience in process automation and workflow tooling will be required, IBM BAW experience would be advantageous
  • Proven experience of leading the design, planning, management and delivery of process automation tooling
  • Experience in scoping and development of user interfaces (UI), dashboards and visualisation
  • Experience in AWS or Azure preferred
  • Some experience in software architecture, programming languages and building services
  • Some experience of Business and Technical Analysis, Quality Assurance, Planning and Delivery Management

    Business / Sector expertise
  • Experience in financial services with a good understanding of financial and related market data
  • Experience in professional people management / technical thought leadership
  • Experience in managing third party delivery team

    Personal skills & capabilities
  • Strong team and stakeholder management, problem solver, a self-sufficient individual with an ability to be constructively address issues
  • Track record for developing and retaining high performing teams
